University of Vaasa and VAMK together run Retro game cartridge Club and arrange this meeting. There are different consoles and personal computers of 70th, 80th and 90th of the past century. All who are interested in gaming have possibility to play. Among others there are Commodore 64, NES, SNES, MSX2, Sega Master System, TurboGrafx-16, Sega Mega Drive, Nintendo 64, Amstrad CPC, Amiga 1200, Amiga 500, Atari ST, Sega Saturn and Atari 2600.

Pampas National Day is the biggest Finnish-Swedish student party! This year there is 20th anniversary. Around 1500-2000 Swedish speaking Finns from all around Finland come to Vaasa for this weekend.
The celebration starts with the Olympic games where 23 teams compete for the great prize “The golden fork”. There is also a fantastic speaker Janne Grönroos.
At night the party takes place in Fontana nightclub. Doors are opened at 21:00. Also there are three bunk parties reserved in El Gringo and Cristal Lounge. Mange Makers performs as a headliner, Luke Djupsjöbacka and The 4 Play accompany.
On Saturday herring breakfast is arranged (silliz) in Smedsby UF. The buses run between the city hall and Smedsby UF between 10:30 and 16:00. And after-party in Oliver’s Inn.
Ticket: 20 Euro incl. the Evening Party and herring breakfast (free ride to Smedsby and back).

BLACK BEAR SOUND from Turku performs.
BLACK BEAR SOUND, founded in 2006, is one of the hardest working dancehall / reggae sounds in Finland. Black Bear selection is mostly based on Dancehall, One Drop, Foundation and Soca with Hip Hop flavour. You can also hear wicked remixes and dubplates during the session.
Also DJ LEIMASIN with POUTA SOUND, that is Finnish energetic music, and special surprise guests.
